Arriving from the south on A15 Broadgate

  • turn left at the main traffic lights onto Clasketgate.
  • then take your first right onto Flaxengate and follow the road straight up.
  • at the top turn left onto Danes Terrace and follow the road round and up to the right onto the bottom of Steep Hill, turning right at the bollards onto Well Lane,
  • you will find the cottage on the right.

from all other routes via the Lincoln Bypass

  • turn onto Carholme Road at the Carholme roundabout (A57), signposted Lincoln.
  • at the end of the road at the main traffic lights turn left with an immediate right turn onto Newlands.
  • continue straight on through all the lights travelling on Mint St, onto Silver Street until the main traffic light Junction at Broadgate.
  • take the first sharp left onto Clasketgate.
  • then take your first right onto Flaxengate and follow the road straight up.
  • at the top turn left onto Danes Terrace and follow the road round and up to the right onto the bottom of Steep Hill, turning right at the bollards onto Well Lane,
  • you will find the cottage on the right.

Situated on a narrow cobbled street that is restricted to traffic, there is no direct parking outside the cottage. Unloading and loading is permitted immediately outside the cottage with a long stay car park (FLAXENGATE LN2 1JX) available just around the corner, a minutes walk away. We will provide one car parking pass per nights stay subject to car parking availability. This offer is not available during the Christmas Market Weekend due to the parking restrictions in place in the vicinity of the cottage. No need for a car to explore our City with the Bus and Train Station just a 10 minute walk away.
